Some changes are coming to PG airport’s baggage claim.
Lindsay Cotter with YXS says starting Thursday, a temporary baggage machine will be set up while they work on building a whole new system.
She says passengers only taking carry-on bags won’t notice any changes.
“How this impacts travellers, is those who are checking in bags, you go to your airline check-in counter as-per normal, get your boarding pass and get your bag tagged,” Cotter says. “Instead of dropping your bag right behind the ticket agent, you do need to walk to the International area of the terminal, drop your bag off there, then head to pre-board screening.”
Cotter says it will last around ten weeks.
