Prince George was under a severe thunderstorm warning last week

Environment Canada issued the warning last week, saying 10 to 20 millimeters could fall over the course of the day.

Friday was warm and wet, with heavy rain and a predicted high of 18 degrees.

There were a few power outages around the city. BC Hydro crews responded to situations as they occurred.

Rain and thunder continued periodically through the evening but the warning was downgraded to a watch.
