Prince George’s business community got a better idea of what BC’s liquefied natural gas future looks like. Minister of Natural Gas Development Rich Coleman spoke before a packed room at the Twisted Cork restaurant to show what the government is doing to prepare the province for LNG development.
Coleman says Northern BC is expected see a lot of growth. Coleman notes the biggest challenge that faces LNG development is ensuring respect to First Nations rights. He also says the province needs to get its act together when it comes to labour.
