You don’t have to pay hundred of dollars to take that computer workshop anymore.
The Prince George Public Library now offers over 300 free personal and professional online courses, stretching from sign language to photoshop to digital photography.
Library Communications Coordinator Amy Dhanjal says all it takes is your library card to enroll in the six-week courses.
“These are instructor-lead courses where [participants] will have interaction with other students, so it’s a really good, engaging way for them to expand their skills in anything from computers to personal development.”
You can use the library computers to participate or do the courses online in your free time from home.
New courses begin every third Wednesday of the month. The last day to sign up for courses that started this month is January 31st.
