The Board of Trustees for School District 57 will hold its inaugural meeting tonight.
A new board chair and vice chair will be chosen. Tony Cable is the current chair and Tim Bennet has been serving as vice chair.
Elections will also be held for the BC School Trustees Association Provincial Councillor and BC Public School Employer’s Association representative.
The meeting will also feature a performance by the District 57 Tapestry Singers.
The inaugural meeting will begin at 7 pm at the School District offices at 2100 Ferry Avenue.
