Prince George RCMP donate ‘Pack-A-PC’ funds to Council of Seniors

The Prince George RCMP donated a cube van full of non-perishables and over $3600 in cash and gift cards to the Prince George Council of Seniors today.

All these donations came through the RCMP’s “Pack-A-PC” event on December 3rd, where residents filled 20 police vehicles parks outside the city’s Save-On-Foods.

Corporal Craig Douglass says this amount surpassed all expectations, and he’s already looking to the future.

“I hope this is the low bar and that we can meet it year, after year, after year and beat it, certainly, where this becomes a standard annual event.”

Cpl Douglass says the donations should help 250 “clients” this holiday season.image-3image-1 rtk_6138-med
