Tuesday’s Prince George Cougars game against the Tri-City Americans will have a little more meaning.
Waste Management is joining forces with the hockey team and the Salvation Army for the inaugural “Fill the Bin” event.
Kayle Barker is with Waste Management and would like to see the event kick off with a bang.
“This is year one and we want to build off of this to make it bigger and better, we’re hoping to hit it out of the park and have had conversations with them to move forward and collaborate future projects with them.”
Even if you can’t make it, you still have another way to contribute. “Northland Hyundai and Nissan have been very generous to set up bins as well so people can stop by the dealerships until December 23rd.”
Any non-perishable food items donated will support the Salvation Army in Prince George.
It will be held at CN Centre.
