Prince George RCMP respond to third suspicious fire in three days

Prince George Mounties are investigating a third fire in as many days.

Early Friday morning at 4:15 AM, RCMP were called to Michael Road near North Nechako Road where a parked vehicle in a carport was damaged by a fire.

No one was hurt, but police are considering the incident to be suspicious.

According to forensic investigators who attended the scene, the situation is being treated as an Arson.

This is the third fire that has occurred in the early hours of each of the last three days; RCMP are asking residents to report suspicious activity to police immediately.

Anyone with information on the recent string of fires is asked to call the local detachment at (250) 561-3300 or Crime Stoppers at 1 (800) 222-8477.
