RCMP say they’ve arrested Rupert William Burr after a Canada-wide warrant was issued on Monday.
Burr was found in Fairview, Alberta on Tuesday, December 6. He has been a wanted man in BC since 1998 for sexual offences that occurred in Prince George in 1993.
Burr is currently in RCMP custody and and will be transported back to Prince George where he will make his first appearance in court next week.
The Prince George RCMP want to thank those who provided information that assisted police in finding Burr.
