The Prince George RCMP are investigating an assault with a weapon incident that occurred on the 1500 block of Pearson Avenue Thursday morning.
It happened just after 8:15AM and emergency crews located an adult male suffering from a possible stab wound.
The victim was taken to University Hospital for treatment.
Police say the suspect fled the scene before they arrived.

The suspect is being described as a bald male who is six feet one inches tall, weighing 200 pounds and wearing a red jacket.
Area schools have been notified and anyone with information is asked to contact the Prince George RCMP.
