Small Business BC is holding an exhibition in the city on Thursday.
“MyBizDay Northern BC” will have free financing, start-up, and marketing workshops throughout the day. Some presenters include TD Canada Trust, The Ministry of International Trade with the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada, TruShield Insurance, and Yellow Pages.
There will be a lot to learn from these speakers, but Communications Manager Mark Blendheim wants attendees to reach out and network as well.
“People can meet other small business owners in their community, find out what some of their successes are, find out what some of their challenges are, and really walk away with education, as well as a bigger network of connections.”
You can still register for the event. It’ll be at PG Civic Centre from 9 AM – 3 PM.
