Shaw cable and internet service has been restored for customers throughout Prince George and the Cariboo.
The company says the outage was cause by a hardware failure along its fibre network between Prince George and Williams Lake. They were able to resolve the issue by replacing equipment.
The outage began early this morning with service being restored around 1020a. Shaw has not disclosed exactly how many customers were impacted.
