The Cariboo Cougars continued their winning ways at the BCMML showcase in Richmond cruising to a 3-0 victory over the North Island Silvertips.
Devin Sutton opened the scoring just 90 seconds in slapping home a pass from Brandon Rowley to lead 1-0 after 20 minutes.
Vanderhoof product Hunter Floris doubled the lead for Cariboo in the third period capitalizing on a feed from Jeremy Gervais.
The victory would be iced later in the frame off the stick of Mason Richey who potted his league leading 4th of the season.
Zach Wickson picked up his 1st BCMML shutout.
Both teams play again on Sunday at 10AM.
