The reincarnated Iron Ore Classic will be at Vanier Hall on Friday.
This is the second annual event since the bodybuilding competition’s reincarnation after its 20-year hiatus.
Over 40 local and BC competitors will compete for a spot at Provincials.
Lead Promoter Karley Green is hoping the Classic can grow the sport locally. There are over eight fitness facilities in the city now, and she’s seen the interest grow.
“I’m estimating between three and five years for our show to really explode. The goal being eventually having 100 – 125 competitors.”
There will be a morning and evening showcase. Tickets range from $17 – $56.
