One man is dead following a head on collision on Chief Lake Road yesterday afternoon.
Corporal Craig Douglass says the Prince George RCMP received a report of a two vehicle collision near Aquarius Road at approximately 3:30 PM yesterday.
“Once on scene we located a deceased adult male in one of the vehicles. An adult female, the driver of the other vehicle, was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. That portion of Chief Lake Road was closed for more than three hours as officers, including a Collision Reconstructionist, gathered evidence.”
The investigation is ongoing.
“The investigation is, as all collisions are, complex and it will take some time to determine the cause.”
Anyone who witnessed the crash or has any information that could help the investigation is asked to call the RCMP.
