Spruce Kings down to 21 players in anticipation of the BCHL season

The Prince George Spruce Kings cut four players following their three exhibition victories over the Grande Prairie Storm to reduce their roster to 21 (two goalies, seven defencemen and 12 forwards).

14 of their players are from B.C. but only one from Prince George (20-year-old forward Braiden Epp).

Among the cuts: 16 year old defenseman Andrew Hunt and 16 year old forward Ryan Stack were reassigned to the Burnaby Winter Club’s U18 Prep team.

17 year old forward Chong Min Lee was reassigned to a yet to be determined Jr B team in the Pacific Junior Hockey League (PJHL) and 19 year old forward Brett Witala was reassigned to the Kelowna Chiefs of the Kootenay International Hockey League (KIJHL).
