An elderly Prince George man found himself in a traffic jam during a recent trip West.
Around 9 o’clock on Wednesday morning, an 84-year-old Prince George man smashed his Kia Sportage into a Chevrolet SUV in a Smithers parking lot.
The driver severely damaged the Chevy’s front end while also hitting an Audi SUV.
Disoriented, the driver then reversed across the whole parking lot and launched a smaller car over the curb and into a ditch.
Smithers RCMP reports the driver was sober there were no injuries. Police handed the driver a careless driving ticket and want his license to be reviewed.
