The evacuation alert for the Norman Lake area has been lifted now that the wildfire is completely guarded and contained.
The seven-hectare blaze, burning about 2km northwest of Norman Lake, was found on Friday. Wildfire BC suspects that it was human-started but is still investigating.
The crew on scene is made of up 20 firefighters, a helicopter, and 2 pieces of heavy equipment.
The evacuation alert ended Saturday at 7 PM and lasted about 28 hours.
