More extreme weather could be in store for Prince George the next 48 hours.
A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued by Environment Canada and David Jones at the Weather Office says residents should be on high alert if the system develops.
“People should understand if a warning is issued that means thunderstorms are occurring if you are outside of radio range you should have an eye to the sky and look to the east because the severe cells will come from the east and southeast.
The system is expected to last into Saturday and could bring heavy rain, hail, and strong winds.
