The Big Squeeze raised $6125.62 for Big Brothers Big Sister Prince George.
Sixteen local businesses sold lemonade between 10 AM – 2 PM Wednesday, August 3rd. All the money raised will fund local programming.
Events Assistants Cassie Lobban says the event “went wonderfully” and is pleased with the total.
“We got a lot of promotion and great community engagement so we’re pretty happy with it and we actually think that that’s a pretty great goal and it’s on track with what we’ve made in previous years.”
Spruce Credit Union raised the most money and judges awarded AiMHi the tastiest drink.
In the future, Lobban hopes to have more teams take part.
