Nominations open for Winter Games torchbearers

Now’s your chance to nominate someone to be a torch bearer for the 2015 Canada Winter Games.

Games CEO Stuart Ballantyne says nominations are open in four categories: youth, sports, culture, and community, and wants to hear about who inspired you the most.

150 spots are open on the torch’s northern run.

In addition to northern torchbearers, the torch will be lit in Ottawa this October and make its way across the country, visiting past host cities, starting it’s run through BC in Victoria.
