If you live in the Hart, you’ll be in the dark for the most of Sunday morning.
“It’s going to affect 9,000 BC Hydro customers,” says BC Hydro spokesperson Bob Gammer. “All of the Hart, all of Ness Lake, Nukko Lake, Chief Lake, all the way up to the Salmon Valley on Sunday morning from 3am til 10am as we take basically all of Prince George north of the Nechako River out to do a repair on a transmission line.”
Gammer recommends unplugging sensitive electronic equipment and leaving a light on overnight so you know when the power comes back on.
“We’re trying to schedule this outage to minimize the impact to customers and that’s not just residential, but also commercial. The outage will be started in the middle of the night.”
You can find more information about the scheduled outage on BC Hydro’s website.
