Gay pride flag raised at City Hall

The City of Prince George has put its support behind Gay Pride Week.

A rainbow flag was raised outside of City Hall Wednesday afternoon.

Vice President of the BC GEU Sussane Skidmore says the city bearing the flag means the majority of people have embraced the LGBTQ community.

Events are going on all week for gay pride, including a parade and festival this Saturday at City Hall starting at 11 a.m..
