10 Prince George Cougars are attending or will be participating in NHL Summer Development Camps. The list includes:
Jansen Harkins (Winnipeg Jets – July 3-7): Harkins was selected by the Jets in the second round (47th overall) during the 2015 NHL Draft. This marks his second NHL Summer Development Camp with Winnipeg.
Jesse Gabrielle (Boston Bruins – July 12 – 15): Gabrielle was drafted by the Bruins in the fourth round (105th overall) of the 2015 NHL Draft and is off to his second NHL Summer Devleopment Camp.
Brad Morrison (New York Rangers – June 27 – July 1): Morrison was picked by the Rangers in the fourth round (111th overall) of the 2015 NHL Draft and is currently participating in his second NHL Summer Development Camp.
Sam Ruopp (Columbus Blue Jackets – June 27 – June 30): Ruopp was selected in the fifth round (129th overall) by the Blue Jackets in the 2015 NHL Draft and is wrapping up his second NHL Development Camp.
Tate Olson (Vancouver Canucks – July 4 -7): Olson was chosen by the Canucks in the 7th round (210th overall) in the 2015 NHL Draft and will also be attending his second NHL Development Camp.
Josh Anderson (Colorado Avalanche – July 5-11): Anderson was selected by the Colorado Avalanche in the third round (71st overall) of the 2016 NHL Draft in Buffalo and will attend his first NHL Summer Development Camp next week.
Axel Jonsson-Fjällby (Washington Capitals – June 28 – July 2): Jonsson-Fjallby was the only pick by the Cougars in the 2016 CHL Import Draft (28th overall). He is a 2016 fifth round draft pick (147th overall) of the Capitals and is currently in the midst of his first NHL Summer Development Camp.
Ty Edmonds (San Jose Sharks – July 7 – 12): Edmonds will attend his first NHL Summer Development Camp with the Sharks.
Brogan O’Brien (Colorado Avalanche – July 5 – 11): O’Brien has been invited by the Avalanche to attend his first NHL Summer Development Camp.
Kody McDonald (Montreal Canadiens – July 1 – 6): McDonald is off to Montreal to attend his first NHL Summer Development Camp.
