Prince George is seeing a surge in businesses and home development.
In May, 13 permits were issued for single family dwellings, along with seven permits to local businesses that sees various improvements.
Councillor Albert Kohler is happy to see the growth has been building each month throughout the year.
Permits issued in May totaled over $15 million, while the city has brought in over $39 million from permits since the year began.
