Membership at the Northern Sport Centre is growing.
Spokesman Cliff Dezell says the board is looking at how to handle a membership that is “bulgingĀ at the seams” already, while also preparing for a surge of activity when the Winter Games start, next year.
He says new equipment left behind after the games will be a huge bonus.
In his report to council Monday night, Dezell noted the centre gets around $2 million in revenue with over a hundred new members this year.
