24th Annual Relay for Life kicks off Saturday

Survivors, their families, and hundreds of people touched by cancer will be walking the Masich Place track at this weekend’s Relay for Life.

So far, there are 120 teams and about 1200 participants already signed up.

Whether you’re participating, Coordinator Aimee Cassie says there’s something for everyone.

“You don’t have to be a participant to come down and enjoy the 24th annual Prince George Relay for Life. Just come down and support it, come down and say hi, and check out all these teams and the incredible effort they’ve put forth,” she says.

The event will kick off with a bang as a giant military plane flies overhead during the Survivor Victory Lap.

The 24-hour event begins Saturday at 10 AM.
