The Williams Lake RCMP responded to a residential shooting on the 900 block of Western Avenue.
It happened just after 4 am Monday morning.
Police say this was a targeted incident as several shots were fired to the home by an unidentified person.
One person has been arrested and is now in custody.

The home used to belong to a local gang member but has since been occupied by a family with no criminal connections.
A firearm was seized at the scene and RCMP notified all School District and University students to steer clear of the area until further notice.
Daily activities can now resume as normal within the community.
