A local woman is organizing a protest for those in Prince George fed up with the Workers Compensation Board and ICBC.
Echo Wylie says she is trying to speak for people who have been short changed in settlements with Work Safe or ICBC.
“WCB and ICBC seem to speak that fraud, the onus is only on us the public and we are the ones frauding. What this is stating is that we feel that there is frauds being committed on their side as well.”
Wylie herself has been fighting a well documented battle with the Workers Compensation Board for over two decades now.
“We’d like to level the playing field a little bit so this isn’t consistently happening. So when I’m asking the Minister to basically step up and face truths that are going in the jurisdiction of her ministry.”
She’s asking anyone who’s interested to join her and others at the PG Courthouse Sunday at 1pm.
