10 students from CNC’s Heavy Equipment Operator course graduated with flying colours today (Fri).
Lynn Just with CNC says the program will help fill many holes on several sectors including construction.
“When we look at Northern British Columbia I think construction is high on the list and with our work in heavy equipment we are certainly going to meet the needs of the construction industry, it also ties in with other training in foundation trades-work.”
Some of the students completed 300 hours on the equipment side alone.
They also completed several training certificates during the 13-week course.
A couple of the graduates are expected to work on the Site C Dam project.
