The Chilliwack Chiefs flexed their muscles Thursday against the Prince George Spruce Kings skating away with an 8-0 win.
Prince George fell behind 4-0 after 20 minutes thanks to a pair of goals from Kale Kane followed by singles from Taylor Allan and Jordan Kawaguchi.
Liam McCloskey was pulled after allowing four goals on 13 shots.
Chilliwack continued the onslaught after Kohen Olischefski and Taylor Allan added to the lead for a 6-0 advantage after 2.
Despite a 28 save shutout after 40 minutes, the Chiefs elected to pull starter Aidan Pelino replacing him with backup Matteo Esposito.
Linden Hora added two shorthanded markers for the visitors in the third.
