The Prince George Humane Society is making steady progress on their animal count.
Foster and Adoption Coordinator, Mandee Vergeer says they have take in over 100 animals in just 6 months.
“Up to this point I think our animal count is over 145, right now we have a few that aren’t quiet ready to be numbered but we have a pretty good amount at this time.”
The Humane Society is also in the process of building their facility.
Several groups have donated various materials and they hope to have construction completed by spring.
Northland Dodge donated a van to the PGHS just before the holidays which has enabled them to take better care of the animals by driving them to vet appointments.
