Tomorrow’s funeral for three fallen RCMP officers will have a few local Mounties paying their respects.
North District RCMP Staff Sergeant Pat McTiernan is in Moncton and says the community is still in mourning.
McTiernan along with another RCMP Staff Sergeant will be assisting with the RCMP guidon team during the funeral.
An estimated 7,000 RCMP and first responders are anticipated to attend the service that begins at 9 a-m local time.
Last week three RCMP constables were killed in Moncton and a 27 year old man has been charged in connection to the shootings.
