2015 was a smashing success for the Prince George Airport.
Not only did YXS set a new record for passengers with 470,849 they also netted direct flights to Victoria with Pacific Coastal Airlines and opened the cargo warehouse.
Airport Authority President, John Gibson says the focus now shifts to 2016 with one issue still on the table.
“We are trying to see if we can get some growth in our non-stop service, so we continue to look at Edmonton and will work with existing airlines until this happens.”
Gibson adds 15,000 people visited Prince George during the Canada Winter Games.
