The Victoria Grizzlies fought off a feisty Prince George Spruce Kings team Friday winning 4-2.
Victoria carried a 1-0 lead after 20 minutes thanks to an even strength goal from Tyler Welsh.
In the second, Prince George potted goals from Connor Logan and Chong Lee to make it 2-1.
It was Lee’s first goal in the BCHL.
The Grizzlies would turn the tide scoring twice later in the frame, including one on the power-play from Brett Stirling followed by an even-strength marker from Cody Van Lierop.
Victoria iced the victory with 10 seconds left when Mitchell Barker lifted the puck into the empty net.
The Grizzlies out-shot Prince George 33-29.
Liam McCloskey took the loss in net.
