Highway 97 is now open to single lane alternating traffic 5km north of Hixon following a Greyhound Bus roll-over this morning.
According to a Greyhound spokesperson, the Kamloops to Prince George bus had 8 customers and 1 driver on board.
BC Emergency Health Services were alerted to the crash at 7:47am and responded with 5 ambulances.
All nine bus occupants were transported to hospital with injuries; three seriously, six minor. Some of the minor injures were transported to hospital via Greyhound Bus under the supervision of paramedics.
A joint investigative team; RCMP traffic Services analyst, a Reconstructionist, and a Commercial Vehicle Safety Inspector are still on scene attempting to determine exactly what caused the bus to leave the road.
Police are requesting anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact North District Traffic Services at 250-649-4004.
