BC’s northern capital remains the talk of the town when it comes to gas prices.
Senior Petroleum Analyst for Gasbuddy.com, Dan McTeague says while the price drop in Prince George is welcome news, prices a could fall a little more.
“If you are a gas station owner in Prince George the wholesale price is between 81 and 82 cents a litre with a retail price of 89 and even as low as 85 there is a bit more room for them to drop a penny or two more.”
Costco has the lowest price in the city at 85.9 while several other locations are currently at 89.4.
