The Cariboo Cougars picked up their seventh straight win after dropping the Vancouver North East Chiefs 4-3 tonight (Sat).
The victory came on Jameson Jones night which raised nearly $1,700 for the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation.
Brett Didyk put the visitors up 1-0 at 9:28 of the first.
Tyler Maser would even things up for Cariboo after 20 minutes.

The Cougars added three more in the second period from Riley Coish, Tyler Ho and Jeremy Gervais.
TJ Prexler tallied for the Chiefs making it 4-2 after two periods.
VNE made things interesting courtesy of a Harris Pearce goal at 15:30 of the third period.
The teams meet again this morning (Sunday) at 9:15 at Kin 1.
