Barkerville Historic Town and Park will be holding it’s Victorian Christmas event starting on Saturday.
It runs from 10am to 4pm until Monday and Marketing Products and Activities Officer, Carleigh Drew says it has a different feel to it during the winter months.
“Our town is a little quieter, it does not have quite the same programming like the summer but it’s a beautiful white Christmas up here and when we do hold this event we open our exhibits and displays.”
19th century style goods, fine jewellery and sweet treats are some of the many items people can purchase at the event.
Admission can be in the form of either a cash donation or a non-perishable food item.
