The Downtown Business Association in Prince George has hired a new Executive Director.
President, Eoin Foley says they are very excited about the move.
“We are happy to bring aboard Colleen Van Mook she is going to start in January and brings a wealth of experience from the city and can help get things done.”
Van Mook was instrumental in bringing the 2015 Canada Winter Games to the city.
She also worked for the city delivering services in recreation, tourism and sport.
Foley adds they want someone who will make the area a priority.
“It is vital we have someone who knows how important the downtown is, it should be for any city and should be the heart and soul where people come to work, play, socialize and be entertained.”
