The Prince George Fire Department responded to a blaze in College Heights this morning.
At about 7:08am, sixteen fire-fighters from three halls were dispatched to the home on the 7600 block of McMaster Crescent.
When they arrived, crews found the lone occupant of the home outside with visible flame coming from the chimney area of the home.
Fire-fighters were on scene for two hours and managed to protect a travel trailer located in the driveway.
There was heavy damage to the roof structure around the chimney and chimney wall.
Damage is estimated at $100,000
