The Cariboo Cougars turned out a 2-1 victory tonight (Sat) during Mental Health Awareness Weekend against the Okanagan Rockets.
Cariboo took a 1-0 lead after 20 minutes courtesy of Mason Ritchey.
In the second the Rockets would tie things up off the stick of Alec Zawatsky.
Before the end of the period the Cougars would re-take the lead thanks to Daine Dubois.

Neither team would score in the third period preserving the win for Cariboo.
Dorrin Luding made 21 saves in the win while Rockets goalie Liam Hughes stopped 31 shots in a losing effort.
Both teams play game two of their double-dip tomorrow morning (Sun) at 9:15 from Kin 1.
