5th annual Red Shirt Walk of Honour held for PG vets

160 flags were raised at Fort George Park Saturday  morning, each honouring a fallen Canadian soldier, as part of the annual “Walk of Honour”.

Looking around Northern BC, organizer Dianne Parnell says there aren’t many local services for vets.

The 5th annual Red Shirt Marathon stretched 5 km, raising money for Winch House in Vancouver, which offers a home for veterans.
