The new lead for a Wood Design program at UNBC is looking to the future through traditional methods.
Doctor Guido Wimmers is taking over the Master of Engineering program for Integrated Wood Design at the University.
Wimmers praises the Wood Innovation and Design Centre for not only being the future of wood structures for PG, but internationally, with its new “cross-laminated timber”.
Wimmers says wooden structures like the Innovation and Design Centre could be built up to thirty stories high in some cities.
