It’s a changing of the guard in Canadian politics this morning as Justin Trudeau is officially sworn in as the new Prime Minister.
Trudeau took the crown during the October 19th federal election which saw a Liberal majority sweep the country.
Prince George-Peace River Conservative MP Bob Zimmer and Cariboo-Prince George Conservative MP Todd Doherty will also be sworn in.
Zimmer won his riding by a landslide margin while Doherty had to fight off Liberal candidate Tracy Calogheros to claim the other constituency.
Everyone who was elected will be sworn in at Rideau Hall in Ottawa.
The Liberal cabinet was also unveiled;

Navdeep Bains (Ontario) – Innovation, Science and Economic Development.
Bill Morneau (Ontario) – Finance Minister.
Jody Wilson-Raybould (B.C.) – Justice and Attorney General of Canada.
Judy Foote (Newfoundland and Labrador) – Public Services and Procurement.
Chrystia Freeland (Ontario) – International Trade.
Jane Philpott (Ontario) – Health.
Jean-Yves Duclos (Quebec) – Families, Children and Social Development.
Marc Garneau (Quebec) – Transport.
