WHL:

The Prince George Cougars had a successful night of hockey yesterday, picking up a 4-2 win over Wenatchee Wild.

Both teams play again tonight (Saturday) at 6:00.

The good news doesn’t stop there, as the Cougars also clinched home ice for round one in the playoffs.

BCHL:

The Prince George Spruce Kings only have one weekend game and that goes Sunday afternoon at 3:00, hosting the Sherwood Park Crusaders.

The Spruce Kings are two points behind the Langley Rivermen for the 8th and final playoff spot in the BCHL Interior Conference.

BC Elite Hockey League:

The U-18 Cariboo Cougars squeaked out a 4-3 win in triple overtime against the visiting Vancouver North West Hawks.

The two play again this afternoon at 3:00 at the Kin Centre and, if needed, play Sunday morning at 9:00.
