Teachers on strike in Prince George

Schools across District 57 closed Thursday as teachers hit the picket line.

Pat Abra is a teacher at Duchess Park Secondary and hopes the impact to Prince George schools will be minimal.

He says class size and composition is a major issue for all classrooms in BC, including secondary schools.

Teachers will be gathering at Parkwood Mall at 3:30 Thursday afternoon for a march to MLA Shirley Bond’s office.
