BC gamblers banking on Canada to win Four Nations Faceoff

After a heated clash at the 4 Nations Face-Off last weekend, Canada and the U.S. lock horns in the tournaments final game tomorrow night (Thursday).

According to the BC Lottery Corporation, both Canada (1.90) and the United States (1.90) share the same odds on PlayNow.com to win the championship in Boston.

This despite the Americans clinching its spot in the final with a 3-1 win over Canada on Saturday in a contest that featured three fights in the first nine seconds.

A successful $20 wager on either team will pay out a total of $38.

On PlayNow, bettors are showing they still believe this is Canada’s game – with 75 per cent of bets and 87 per cent of money wagered on the red and white to win.

Betting interest in the game is expected to rival a Vancouver Canucks playoff game or a Stanley Cup Final – and is anticipated to be PlayNow’s most bet-on hockey game of 2025.

Canadian stars such as Connor McDavid, Nathan MacKinnon and Sidney Crosby are among the favourites to score at least one goal (McDavid and MacKinnon at 2.90, Crosby at 4.50).
