The UNBC Lady Timberwolves picked up their first win of the season defeating the Regina Cougars 2-1 in women’s soccer today (Sun).
Sydney Hall put UNBC on the board just 3 minutes in after taking a feed from Ashley Anderson to make it 1-0.
The Cougars would tie things up just before half time when Karlee Vorrieter rippled the mesh to even the score at 1.
Hall would score the game-winner and her fourth of the season in the 84th minute to put the T-Wolves ahead for good.
UNBC improves to 1-8-3 on the season and outshot the Cougars 7-5 in the game.
