Prince George Mounties are currently at the corner of Highway 97 and Highway 16, responding to a report of a body found near that location.
The report was received by police shortly before 9:00 this morning (Tuesday).
“Our preliminary investigation has not revealed anything suspicious in nature; we will continue to work closely with the B.C. Coroner’s Service, who will take conduct of the investigation from this point,” stated Corporal Jennifer Cooper.
This investigation is still in the early stages.
